3 Steps to being complete:
{Warning}
PERSECUTION for doing what is right is to be expected
It is the price for entering the Kingdom
((this is from Matthew 5))
What you need to have happen:
STEP 1: stop having contempt for people.
STEP 2: clear up you character, get some integrity.
STEP 3: Now you are capable of returning good when evil is done. (Mercy and Grace)
You are able to be complete (TELOS) like God is.
((this is from Matthew 6))
How you can have it happen?
STEP 1: Fast as a form of grieving over your lack of comfort with people and situations. (stop having contempt and in doing be comforted).
STEP 2: Pray for everything before God; He can’t be fooled. (meekness in integrity)
STEP 3: Give to the needy without thinking of yourself. (Mercy and Grace)
{Warning}
“POOR” depends on the value system

*Take personal responsibility (others aren’t your real problem)
*Take the narrow path (remember poor and persecuted?)
*Follow teachers of character so you will be then do instead of fake it (then your life will not perish)
The pursuit of completeness is more than anything a pursuit of being God centered in your living. In everything that we do separate from God, which is ultimately impossible, we are incomplete. Growing in the relating knowledge that in God we live and move and have our being is the path of the Christian.
Paul kept pressing on for it, not that he already had it. Knowing Christ also means that you learn to live in obedience and suffering for the joy set before you. That is why Paul wanted to
Philippians 3:10-17
I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.
12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect (Telos), but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
15 All of us who are mature (Telos) should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. 16 Only let us live up to what we have already attained. 17 Join with others in following my example, brothers, and take note of those who live according to the pattern we gave you.
